About a month ago, my husband Andy and I went up to Mt. Hood, Oregon to play in the snow. We took our dog, Sophie, who had absolutely froliced the first time we took her to the snow, so we were pretty certain she’d have a blast this time too. She did, but in all fairness, the poor girl had some pretty decent obstacles to overcome in her pursuit of ultimate snow fun.

Unlike Sophie’s previous snow adventure in which she froliced freely through the snow, this snowy good time was marred by the fact that Sophie had been recently groomed, leaving her with silky smooth snow-collecting leg fur. As Sophie tromped through the snow, snow berries attached themselves to her leg and grew with every step. At times, Sophie was carrying snowballs the size of softballs around on her legs. My girl is such a gentle spirit though, she just toughed it out barking and chasing, dancing and playing. I couldn’t help but scrap a layout about Sophie and her pop and the fun they had that day.

Sweet, isn’t it?
