It’s time for our quarterly coordinated collection.  Harvest Sunset is our 17th Coordinated Collection! Each time I am amazed and in awe of the infinite talents in the fingertips of our Design Team.  The entire Studio Design Team bands together every quarter to create one, big, huge, stunning collection. Harvest Sunset is no exception.

Each piece is on sale for only $1.00 each until October 28th.  You can build your collection as big, or as small as you’d like.  The choice is up to you!

Harvest Sunset was inspired by all things Fall.  The crisp, cool air. The change from the brilliant blues, greens and yellows of summer to the faded yellows and vibrant oranges & reds of autumn. My nesting instinct kicks in early every Fall. I collect apples from the neighboring orchards to make apple butter. I buy pumpkins from the local farmer for pumpkin soup, breads and muffins. And I start digging through my fabrics again, dreaming of warm quilts to gift family & friends at Christmas. But my very favorite part, is sitting on the balcony, watching the sky turn red as the sun sets, a hot cup of coffee in my hand, and just being still. Sometimes we need a moment to ourselves, and every Fall I remember…it’s time to be still, enjoy life and appreciate all the good.  I am a Fall person, inside & out.

I so rarely scrap these days. A full-time job (running The Studio), a part-time job (a photography teacher), three kids still at home, a traveling husband, a house, you name it! It all comes first. I think this sums up most of our lives.  And yet, I love scrapping. I love spending the time to look at my pictures, picking the papers & elements. Putting a page together.  The satisfaction and happiness that floods through me when it’s complete.

I am incredibly grateful that there are templates out there that help me put layouts together quicker, faster and, honestly, better than I could on my own. When I do have the time, I want to go fast, fast, faster! Thanks to templates I can! This morning, after looking at the entire Harvest Sunset Collection, I knew I had to at least do one page. I also knew, a fact my mother won’t let me forget, that I have yet to scrap Cole’s senior pictures from a year ago.  Harvest Sunset is the perfect collection for scrapping his senior pictures and I jumped right in. I love how this page turned out:
