Can you believe we’re starting a new year already? I guess time really does go more quickly as one gets older … LOL!!!
Today I’m going to show you how one finds Commercial Use Products in our store. With our new software, things have really changed and is still evolving based on customer comments. One of those comments involved not being able to easily find CU stuff. Let’s get started.
Note: There is always more than one way to do this, so I will be having a follow-up tutorial on another way. PLUS, if you have a tip or trick, please share it with us in the comments.
If you are starting on the Home page (or just about any page, but this is where I started), click on Digital Art (1.) and you’ll get a dropdown. From the dropdown, click on Browse ALL Commercial Use (2.).
When the page opens, you’ll notice a column down the left side with Commercial Use and CU4CU boxes already checked (1.). Those are only a start, below those filters are a bunch more including Designers. If you know which designer’s products you’re interested in, click in the box to the side of their name (2.).
Further down in the left column you’ll find 2 categories of filters, Product Type and Specialty Formats, with a scroll bar down the side and a Search box at the top. This is because the list of filters is longer than the boundaries of the box they are in.
Now the Search box was a real gotcha for me. I figured I could type in what I was searching for (buttons) and actually get a list of buttons. Wrong …
Clearly, my brain was in a fog. I knew there were CU buttons in the store. However, I soon realized that the Search box is so I don’t have to use the scroll bar. If I know a category name, I type it into the box and it’s brought to the top (DUH). Then all I need to do is check the box next to the search result and I’m off to the races.
There’s one final filter that I want to point out. In case you haven’t noticed, we have started putting the Newsletter freebies into our respective stores. PLUS, some of the designers have other freebies that they’ve added. To find them, scroll down to the bottom of the left column until you see Price. Change the maximum price to 0 (best way to do this is just type it into the second box). Now you have a page full of all the Commercial Use freebies in our store.
OK … now for the latest Commercial Use products that have been added to our store.
That’s it for this Sunday … Happy New Year and a BIG HUG!!!
Jill, you have a great way of explaining things! Happy New Year! -Pam
