First things first, my test results are finally in (Zoo Zürich) and I’m FREE & CLEAR! No cancer for me! It’s time to celebrate and get out of my funk. Wooooooooohooooooooooooo! Second things? I’m moving to Zürich.

After the zoo, we spent two hours wandering downtown Zürich, getting the most expensive fries at any McDonald’s ever, our Starbucks mugs for our collection O’mugs, and soaking up the beauty that is Zürich. We got food & coffee first, then drove the 2-3 blocks down to the lake. We should’ve walked, but I was trying to spare my leg. Silly me. I wound up walking way more than I should, now, almost a week later, I still feel the throbbing. So worth it.

While Dave hugged the shore and tried to find a parking space, I hopped out of the van and walked the fabulous promenade along the lakeshore. Despite my leg, the sheer beauty of  Zürich and the Alps took my breath away. I was in my new happy place. I smiled and “hello’d” perfect strangers. I stopped and snapped photo’s of couples and families on vacation from all over the world (with their iphones & androids). Zürich is a place of peace. The energy is soft and quiet and beautiful. My words can’t describe it, maybe my photo’s can?

Driving in Zürich as work lets out? Challenging. Go Dave!

While Dave struggled to park the car, I hopped out & strolled the promenade.

I’m thinking of moving to Zürich.

The Limmat River, my back is to the lake.

It’s just a beautiful, thriving, peaceful, happy city.

There’s Alps everywhere. Gorgeous at sunset.

Swans are everywhere, the setting sun is making it hard to catch them in enough light.

Bubbles!

Bubbles & Alps! My new favorite happy place!

Dave hung Dane from a sculpture. Sadly, he got down all by himself without a trouble.

One to treasure… Dane on lake Zürich.

Why, why, WHY must she dab? Why?

Final moments of sunset over downtown. No color boost from photoshop. This is it!

And the light is going, going, gone. He’s getting so big.
