I am always looking for new tricks, tips and ways to do things – and I love this little tutorial from We Lived Happily Ever After. More advanced scrappers might find this a little easy, but when I see a tutorial like this, I always learn a little something new, even if it’s just a new away to think about how I do something! In this tutorial, I loved the idea of using the same background on the top layer – and using opacity (or blending modes, or layer styles…..) to differentiate them! Thanks. This site these site give some great resources for backgrounds and fonts. I tried to use the instruction for Photoshop but it did not work for Elements, but I found a way to get the results. It was just a matter of using a clipping mask for the background onto the wordart and duplicating to intensify the colors. Looks the same.
