Sometimes I take a photo I love. Sometimes it’s a great photo. Sometimes I just love it because it was a good day, a good moment, a good memory. And then OF COURSE I want to scrap it. But. I don’t. I don’t want to ruin it by making it small or covering it up. What I want is for that photo I love to shine.

Fall is hands-down my favorite season, so it’s no surprise that I have a lot of Fall photo’s I love. I picked this one because the field, barn & trees by my scottish cows is my happy place here. I wanted to showcase my happy place, and as just part of a layout, a photo in a frame, it didn’t work for me. So I turned some of my favorite leaves into photoshop brushes & made a big, page width, photo mask.

I slipped in my favorite fall photo of my happy place & created a clipping mask:

After that it went lightening fast! I still have Angel’s amazing October Anthology: Fall Frolic on my desktop and I quickly added in some of my favorite elements & word arts to complete my layout:

However. I waffled. Because. That barn in the field? Angel has the perfect frame to match it in Fall Frolic! I dropped it in & added on of my best friends. I’m still not sure which layout I like best.
