Lara’s Digi World is our Featured Designer this month. Here’s just a bit about her.
“Hi my name is Erika! I live in Kosice, Slovakia, which is located in the middle of Europe. I live with my “husband” (we are not married yet) and our 2 kids in a maisonette located in the southern part of the town. Jakub will be 11 in June and Lara turned 9 a few days ago.
I was born and grew up in my hometown Kosice with my younger brother. Kosice is the metropolis of eastern Slovakia and the second most populous city in Slovakia. From an early age, I devoted myself to swimming, later to synchronized swimming and ended up playing water polo.
I came across digital scrapbooking in 2007 after seeing a few wonderful layouts created by my schoolmate Linda aka hawra. She inspired me to start with digital scrapbooking and helped me a lot in the whole process of it. Since I hadn’t heard of any paper/digital scrapbooking before, it was very challenging for me. Later in 2008 I created my first freebie for a Color Challenge at the Digital Scrapbooking Studio (formerly Stone Accents Studio). It hooked me so much that I applied for a Designer Call and here I am.”
