Hey all! It’s your friendly neighborhood Toiny here with a fast & fun trick to make your layouts a lot more you, with just a little effort. Today I’m playing with the wonderful new Resilience by Just Because Studio (Dani), April’s Traditional ANTHOLOGYFLEX selection.
resilience
[ri-zil-ee-uhns] noun – English
the capacity of a person to maintain their core purpose and integrity in the face of dramatically changed circumstances.
Dani has seven unique stamps as part of her members-only bonus. These are available this April only & are absolutely fabulous! I’ve loved playing with them already, and I’m going to show you how to extend the fun even further.
I’m going to start with my favorite stamp:
I slide a background paper behind it. This will be the base of my layout.
Unfortunately, the paper I picked makes part of the lovely stamp practically invisible. Luckily, there’s a quick fix for that. Added bonus, it gives me an entire new stamp in two quick clicks.
- I drag a new paper above the stamp
- Create a Clipping Mask
- You can adjust size and/or location of your paper. I didn’t for this example:
Go give it a try with your favorite stamp & papers. Be sure to stop by the Studio and check out our April ANTHOLOGYFLEX. Both our Traditional selection, Resilience by Just Because Studio, and our Artsy selection, Embrace the Journey by PapierStudio Silke, are available at a phenomenal introductory price with equally phenomenal limited-edition bonuses.
Thank you Toiny
Thanks Toiny, who would have thought, just shows how resilient the stamps
are I will definately be trying this.
What a terrific idea — & so easy! Thanks for the tip!!
Hey… thanks for sharing how your name is pronounced! Not how I have been doing it for years… will have to practice saying it… Liz
