It’s time for Custom Collection Sundays… on a Wednesday! We are a little of schedule here, but that doesn’t mean we have to miss out on any of the fun. What is a Custom Collection Sundays? It is a chance for each of you to request a Custom Collection from one of our Designers. Every week one person wins their request.
On September 21 Stash Empress won her request for a Rainbow Loom-inspired collection by A-Manda Creations!
Well – lets see if third time’s the charm?
I’d love to see a collection devoted to the Rainbow Loom/rubber band craze! My daughter (and grandkids too) have been very involved with this new craft & have made all kinds of amazing things, not just bracelets, but all kinds of cute objects. PLEASE!!!???!!!!from: Stash Empress

Now, it’s time for my favorite part of every week… picking a new Custom Collections Sunday winner! I had quite a few fabulous request to choose from:
Great kits so far. I still would like an old Persia or old Isfahan kit. Persian carpets, miniatures, bazaars, isfahani cloths, caravanserai, spices, brass, copper, Omar Khayyam poetry, persian garden, Ancient architechture, nomads. Colors could be from an Isfahani carpet reds, deep blues , yellows or Nain carpets, Ivory, beige, dark and light blues. It might even be cool as an art journal type kit.

I would love to see a kit devoted to Norway ” Frozen “. I am a bit bias to this subject because we are sailing the fjords of Norway this coming Spring. Yes, I will be singing – Let it Go! After, the cruise we are going to Sweden and Denmark. I need proper supplies to scrap our 3 week trip. LOL

I would love to see a Autumn Rustic/Country Wedding Theme…. The colors are gorgeous and tying it in with items like burlap and lace and autumn flowers ( or autumn colors) would be gorgeous. You don’t see many kits with this theme and with my daughter and a few friends getting married with this theme… I would love to do some pages for them and create a memory book for them

And the winner this week…. Bryony!
I’d love a summertime Christmas kit please! With no snowflakes!!! Love the snow but we have swimming/tennis/bbq/lunch outside on Christmas day. Colours could be light green/yellow and silver glitter with touch of red.
from: Bryony
Val, Valentina’s Creations, is almost done with a collection inspired by Bryony‘s request! Check out this adorable sneak peek:
Bryony please check your email (that you used to register on our blog) for a note with the details from me.
Very important note: I will post a new winner every week, however, please do not expect your Custom Collection to be ready within a week. Scrapbooking Collections take time, and that time varies by Designer. Some of our team are full-time designers, others are part-time. Some are new mommies with littles at home, and others are Grandmothers. Some of us are both.
I cannot wait to see the requests this week, please post away your biggest wishes in the comments below. Comments are open to everyone. New comments, and repeat comments are welcome. I will post a new winner next week, along with a new release & a sneak peek!
OH MY HAT I AM SO EXCITED!! (Can you tell I am excited?!) This is the best news every after a horrible two days. Woohooo I am so excited and the sneak peak looks completely amazing!! (I managed to stop myself from saying amaze-balls ha ha). Thank you so much for picking me 🙂 Am so, so, so happy! Last Christmas I spent in hospital so have almost no pics. This year I am going to take hundreds ha ha!
PS Also love the idea posted above of the Frozen kit.
SQUEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m blown away — Amanda has done an AMAZING job with the Rainbow Loom kit — my daughter will be sooooooo thrilled when she sees it — not only is she very involved in her rubber band creations (not just bracelets but all kinds of 3D characters, dolls, & currently crocheting a rubberband purse!) — but she’s also become intresting in digital scrapping — so she will be beyond excited to have a collection created just for her! Thanks again sooooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats to Bryony for having her idea selected! I live in Southern California so I know I will be able to use some of the same elements.
I would love to see a modern sewing kit. Current style sewing machine, thread spools, scissors, rotary cutter (current tools), bobbins, a touch of quilting, pin cushions, embroidery, decorative stitches, fabric bolts, denim, lace, linen and tulle. I love the look of the wire dress forms. Colors would probably be black & white along with current brighter colors – chartreuse, plum, dazzling blue, etc. Thanks for the chance to see a kit like this!
Wow Stash Empress, your kit is gorgeous. It’s as if a rainbow has come alive. I don’t make bracelets out of rubber bands, but I sure do like this kit. Amanda you did a splendid job.
Congratulations on your win Bryony! I can hardly wait to see your kit myself. 🙂
Uh-oh – tried to use the coupon code, but site is not accepting it? Help!
I’d love to see a kit for scrapbookers – not just about photo-ops, selfies, and who gets cropped, but about WHY we do what we do – what drives us – yes preserving memories, but why? And with what? Not just cute scissors and tape and glue, but the tools and techniques, the textures and vivid tones, the life-like elements, about the paper-fiends, the glitter maniacs, the machines, the embellishments, etc – adorned with word art both light and serious. I scrap for my kids to know how much I treasure them, to celebrate my parents now and then, to remind myself of who I am and who I treasure when alzheimers/dementia sets in, as a way of writing my autobiography, of celebrating the family and friends and their imprints on me, of honoring the reasons I am thankful, and of giving my family line a strong sense of self – of making it through the touch times as a family, and celebrating together, always.
what an awesome fun kit…I got a sneak peek of my kit and OMG am I excited for the reveal…Thanks Jill! Congrats to the winner…I know this will be another great kit…and good luck to everyone! So glad my favorite site is up and running again!
I would love to see a Autumn Rustic/Country Wedding Theme…. The colors are gorgeous and tying it in with items like burlap and lace and autumn flowers ( or autumn colors) would be gorgeous. You don’t see many kits with this theme and with my daughter and a few friends getting married with this theme… I would love to do some pages for them and create a memory book for them 🙂 ( maybe 4th time is the charm? lol)
Congrats to the winner! great theme!!!
That sounds amazing! I’d have to buy that one for sure! Autumn flowers/colors, burlap, lace… If you’re not picked this time, you should try again, because that sounds like a winner to me!
I’d love a realistic Scottish collection, something that looks like a visit, and nothing bright or cutesy. I was thinking of soft colors, deep earthy ones and gentle lighter ones. Maybe weathered earth textures, stone, scenic papers, and textile textures like a subtle woven plaid, tweeds, heathered aran knits with cables… I thought elements could include things Celtic/Scottish, definitely including heather and thistle. It seems like it would need several pieces of metal; fixtures, jewelry, weapons… Oh, and tea and scones, maybe?
I like Rebecca’s idea! That would make a beautiful kit!
I would like to see a kit for Girl Scouts. (I know, I already won a collection…not trying to be greedy…and this is a repeat suggestion.)
Colors would be the colors of the vests. WA would include something like leadership, respect, friendship, honor…
Thank you for letting me express my ideas!
I would love this! Something that also work for the girls as they get older too. Mine are 4th and 2nd grade and loom to be doing this into high school 🙂
I also would love to see Bev’s idea for a “Frozen” kit!!
Here’s Bev’s request from last week:
I would love to see a kit devoted to Norway ” Frozen “. I am a bit bias to this subject because we are sailing the fjords of Norway this coming Spring. Yes, I will be singing – Let it Go! After, the cruise we are going to Sweden and Denmark. I need proper supplies to scrap our 3 week trip. LOL
I also would love to see Nancy Holland’s idea come to life. (And maybe even include Irish Dancing too??)
Here is Nancy’s request:
would love a tap dancing kit
Last one… 🙂
I’d like to repeat my request/suggestion for a girl Elf on the Shelf kit. Christmas colors with the girl elf in different poses. And a pretty outfit or two…(interchangeable would be awesome!)
Thank you for the chance!! 🙂
