It’s time for Custom Collection Sundays. Yay! We are getting back on track after the holidays. Finally! We’ve got a fabulous new release and a new request has been chosen. Ready? Let’s dig in…
What is a Custom Collection Sundays? It is a chance for each of you to request a Custom Collection from one of our Designers. Every week one person wins their request.
On December 7, Gloria won her request:
I would like to see a kit which could be used for vintage memories, heretige, etc. There are not very many with colors which catch your attention and not just brown and tan. I would like to see something with parchment, teal and burgundy – vintage but pleasing to the eye.

Patty, PattyB Designs, released her stunning Hope Chest Memories Collection late last year. It’s gorgeous, vintage and most definitely pleasing to the eye:

I’ve picked another new Custom Collections Sunday winner! I again appreciated the slightly less specific requests. It is easier to get those completed than ones with complex, specific elements. Continue to ask me something fun! Ask me something in your favorite color! Or favorite colors! Request flowers, winter or love, and let’s see who I can make happy next. And go ahead & try with something a little more specific. I know there were some great ideas out there that can be fulfilled! Give it another go?
Some of my favorite requests last year:
I would still love a wedding kit with a dark green in it, along with pastels like pink, apricot, and yellow. I’m still looking for a kit to scrap the photos from my daughter’s wedding, and I would love to enjoy the luxury of having a kit that includes ‘everything’ and having those colors coordinated!

My husband and son are all about volleyball. My husband coaches the JH girls team and my son enjoys going to college men’s volleyball games. In fact, we are all going this Friday. I have never really found a kit that has much in it for this sport. I would love to have a kit dedicated to volleyball. Surely there are others out there who have kids playing volleyball or play themselves that would love scrapping their volleyball pictures…. I hope.
Thanks! (Love these Custom Collection Sundays. It’s fun to see what you choose and then see the kits that have been created to meet a special request. smile)

Sadly, I can only pick one winner. Our winner this week is: Peggy S!
My request this time around is for a kit celebrating newness, beginnings, springy, but with wordart for other beginnings in life. I like contrasty colors like blue and yellow, or soft orange and lavendar, coral pink and greens. I don’t care for blue pinks. I love some neutrals mixed in. Sprouting branches, seed packages, hopes and plans, some journal cards with planning themes for things to start, places to go, goals to achieve, taking time to dream.

Peggy, Wendy Page Designs is already hard at work on your request! This is a request right up her alley & I think you will be thrilled with the final results!
Very important note: I will post a new winner every week, however, please do not expect your Custom Collection to be ready within a week. Scrapbooking Collections take time, and that time varies by Designer. Some of our team are full-time designers, others are part-time. Some are new mommies with littles at home, and others are Grandmothers. Some of us are both.
I cannot wait to see the requests this week, please post away your biggest wishes in the comments below. Comments are open to everyone. New comments, and repeat comments are welcome. I will post a new winner next week, along with a new release & a sneak peek!
Hi I would love a very masculine kit. Possibly along the line of car racing and tools. My son races a Ford car & I take lots of photos of the cars. I would love to be able to make him a book but it is very hard to find things that are for men other than fishing or young boy things. If you chose me I would be sooooo grateful
That’s a great request!!
Congrats, Peggy! I can’t wait to see your kt in ‘person’!
First of all… Congrats to Peggy! That sounds like a great kit! I also love Vicky’s idea. But for me… I’d love a kit about singing that’s at least a little bit masculine. My son is in the high school choir. Most of the music related kits I see are about rock, stereos, headphones… I’m looking for something to scrap photos of the choir concerts and special events they do. At Christmas, they spend a day going to local nursing homes to sing Christmas carols for the residents. For their regular concerts and competitions, the girls wear sparkly black dresses and the boys wear matching tuxedos. The school colors are royal blue and gold. Thank you for doing these custom collection Sundays – what a great idea and so much fun!
I love Tammy’s request for a kit for choirs and other more classic singing. Lots of us sing in church choirs, lots of kids sing in school choirs and jazz groups too.
Oh, I’m excited! Thank you for taking on my wish! I know Wendy will do a wonderful kit and likes to work in the colors I prefer. I will be eagerly waiting, but will be patient.
Back in Nov or so I won for the suggestion of a kit reflecting the true meaning of Christmas. I have not heard from anyone as to whether this kit was ever created. Can you let me know if it was created?
I have a couple of suggestions.
1) My daughter retired from the Air Force as a MSgt, but you don’t see much about women in the service. Her husband died a month before his retirement as a SMSgt.
2) My sons used to love to play paintball in the woods and fields in our area. Since the younger son became disabled they play with RC cars and/or Call of Duty and other games on the computer with hubby and grandson.
I would love to see a Kit that can be used for the loss of loved ones. I know that’s not fun, but that’s what I would like, sadly that is part of life. With word art, Purples, Teals, Blues, Greens, Yellow and maybe with a pop of something in the family of red, crimson, something like that. With Angel’s. I have no other requests for the Kit, because if you made a Kit for this I know it would be perfect just the way you’d see in your heart and designed it. Thank you for even taking the request. XOXO Lisa
Thanks so much PattyB for the lovely HOPE CHEST KIT. I am so looking forward to using it. I love the colors, ephemera, clusters, borders and ALL of it. I look forward to using it very soon!
Gloria
It’s so fun to see the lovely kits that are being created in response to people’s requests – this is such a wonderful idea!
I may be using this as an excuse to procrastinate (me? never!), but I’m still looking, hoping to find a wedding kit that includes dark green, along with pastels like pink, apricot, and yellow. My daughter’s bridesmaids wore dark green dresses, and some attendants (two with red hair!) had dresses with touches of apricot, yellow, and pink.
It would be such a luxury to be able to scrap her wedding with a kit that really worked with her wedding colors! Thank you for considering my request.
