Smash books are a really fun way to ‘scrap’ your mementos, memories and life without the boundries of a page or an album. What makes them even more fun is that anyone can do it! They can be a really fun way to get your kids involved in memory keeping too! I found this fun basic how-to tutorial over at The Realistic Mama! Put your digital supplies to use in your Smashing too – print out some fun elements, cut them out and add them to your pages! Here are some fun products you could use to SMASH with!
Digital Stickers, Pocket Cards, Word Art, and Digital Collage Sheets
Plus, pick up any paper pack and print them for awesome backgrounds and accents!
Let us know in the comments if you’ve tried Smashing, what you think and what digital tools you use to make your pages!
Thanks for the great ideas, Amanda! My granddaughter is coming up for the week soon, and this is the perfect way to get her involved in a project and also in memory keeping!
My kids LOVE smash-booking. Adam uses an old notebook and just glues in things that are important to him. Sometimes we add notes, sometimes we add embellishments – it doesn’t have to be fancy to be a great album!
