Welcome to the Studio. Lisa-Lisa from The Cherry On Top, sharing our newest, hybrid paper project.
The first thing on the supply list is a super, festive kit for your advent calendar boxes. I had to get my hands on Vero-The French Touch‘s fabulous, 12 Days of Christmas collection. These colours are just delicious and the theme couldn’t be more perfect. This collection has a traditional touch and the colour palette gives it a modern edge.
There are many Christmas and winter kits to choose from at the Digital Scrapbooking Studio. Here are a couple of others for you to consider. All of them would be great for this Advent Calendar and all of them are on sale.
There are some seriously super promotions in the Christmas department. From 30% off and much, much more.
Let’s take a look at that paper project! Think of all of the possibilities with a project like this. Shape your boxes in a square, pyramid or tree. You could even hang them from your Christmas tree. One of the best parts about this craft is you only need paper, scissors and glue. It’s a very easy project and can be completed rather quickly if you do just 12 days instead of 25.
Simply clip in your favourite Studio designer’s paper and embellish as you like. Perhaps the kids or grandchildren would like to decorate them? You can find many examples of these kinds of calendars as well as various shaped templates on Pinterest and your other favourite crafty sites.
Print out your box, cut, glue and that’s it!
You can find more details about this project, get the free template and a full tutorial on assemblage over at The Cherry On Top.
Peruse through the Digital Scrapbooking Studio’s Commercial and Personal Use products and find the goodies that will be just right for your Advent Calendar.
Thanks so much for stopping by the Studio.
