We all love to scrap, that’s no secret! But sometimes, just making layout after layout – we get bored (or, at least I do). There is sooooo much more we can do with our mad skills – let’s bring our scrapbooking into our homes and our lives!

Home Decor

I’m not talking about anything fancy here, but you can use your kits and photoshop skills to make some fun pieces of art to hang around your house. In the past, I have created a few printable projects, ones I’ve just sent out to my local one hour printer and framed. Shown below: Boredom Busters, Family Rules, “K” art for my gallery wall and a Menu board (which I write on with a dry erase marker).

Photo Gifts

There are so many web sites out there where you can custom order gifts like puzzles or coffee mugs with images on them. While most of these sites offer pre-made templates you can simply add your photos too, most of them also offer a ‘blank’ option, allowing you to upload your own custom design! So, pull out a favorite kit, follow the size guidelines on the site you’re using and create your own, totally made by you, custom project! (Image from Shutterfly 2013, all products shown may not be available. We have no partnership with Shutterfly, this is just an example of the types of projects you could create).

Apparel

Much like the ability to custom design photo gifts, you can custom design your own clothing! The easiest way to do this is using your own printer and iron-on paper. But, there are web sites that you can upload your own designs to as well. The image below shows some onesies that the retired designer Scrappy Cocoa made a few years ago using her scrapping skills and iron on paper!

Onesies

These are just a few ideas of some other things you can use your supplies and skills to create – do you have any other fun ways to put your digital scrapbooking skills to use other than creating layouts? Now that you have some ideas, head over and get to shopping!
