I’m back and have I got some great commercial use stuffs to show you. Those of you who know me know that I love to create Photoshop actions. That’s why, when I see another designer has created one, I just have to try it out. The one I’m going to show you today is by Manu of Manu Scraps and it’s the perfect thing to steal away all your empty time … as in it’s very addicting. She’s created a Doily & Snowflake Generator.
It takes a little getting used to, at least it did for me (I was always lousy at making paper snowflakes), but once you get the hang of it, you completely forget about things like cooking dinner (the voice of experience). Fortunately, Rebecca from the CT Hot Spot has helped out by creating a tutorial with some great ideas on how to use this. After watching it, I was finally able to get something I’m willing to show off.
Manu wanted you to be able to see some of the things you can do with it and has provided us with some of the samples. Just click on the preview below to download it (yes, you read it right, they’re commercial use).
And now for a sampling of what else has been released (folks have been REALLY busy) starting with our newest designer and winner of the 2016 NDC Ben of Benthaicreations.
Do you sense a Christmas theme here??? That’s it for today … HUGS!!!
ManuScraps new action looks so cool! But you knew I would like it. It made me think of an idea I have written down for you.
I forgot to add that the video that Rebecca made was very helpful to understand how the action works.
I had done a LOT of playing around and could get something that was somewhat good … but after watching the video, my creative juices really got flowing!!! btw — I knew you’d love it …
I have been trying to get the Advent Calendar items. I went in 11/30 and had to reset my password, but received the temporary password right away and got the first download. Then I went to my account and changed the temporary password to one I normally use for freebies. When I went in 12/1 it would not take that password, I have requested a password reset several times but never receive a new temporary password. What’s up?
I’ll be sure to forward your comment to theStudio admins. I’m sure someone can help you out with this.
This is fascinating. The snowflake you made is drop dead gorgeous. Thank you for the samples.
Thank you for your compliment!!! I’ll be sure to let Manu know that you enjoyed her samples.
Love that snowflake, Jill! And that action looks too good to pass up!
just be sure you’ve got the time to play with it … otherwise your family will go hungry. 🙂
