Hi, it’s Ann here today on the blog. I’m away from home this week (of all times—during the quarterly Layout-a-Day event that I enjoy), and I am traveling light. I hopped a flight with only an under-seat bag and headed to Florida to be with my folks for a few days. Armed with my iPad and mobile phone, I was ready to keep creating.

I’m only starting to take a few photos here (too much talking and not enough photo-taking to date), so my L-A-D pages have featured pics already on my device. While I’m loving it down here, I miss my hubby and our little house in the woods.

I have some photos from home on my phone, and the Cozy Friends kit from Lara’s Digi World saved on the cloud. With a few minutes to scrap today, I created a page with the trusty Pixelmator app on my iPad. I’ve used it for years as a lightweight, layer-based, on-the-go scrapping app, and it does the job well with little effort.

I’m hoping to start taking more photos through the week and using those in L-A-D challenges instead of older photos. But the beauty of scrapping on the go is, I can use old pics, new pics, or mix it up!  It’s a good change to get off the computer, out of my comfort zone, and keep recording memories. And I’m definitely not complaining about a few days in the sun doing it.

I’ll be back in a few days with some quick tips and tricks about scrapping on iPad, on the go or at home.
