It’s time for Custom Collection Sundays. Please comment away below to WIN a custom collection of your very own.
What is a Custom Collection Sundays? It is a chance for each of you to request a Custom Collection from one of our Designers. Every week one person wins their request.
I have no new release to share this week. BUT! I do have a brandnew winner to share.
We only had two requests this week, and that makes it hard for me to pick only one. Both were fabulous requests:
OK this is a first for me!! I’m new to Digital Scrapbooking and to Digitalscrapbookingstudio.com. I AM ADDICTED!!!!
My request is in anticipation of my son’s and future daughter-in-law’s wedding coming up May 30. Their colors are teal and gray/silver and ivory with burlap accents. She has simple taste and loves the outdoors. They are having a bike theme and scrabble (which we all love to play.) I want to make this my first digital album with their beautiful lifetime photos to be treasured forever!!
Thank you for considering this! I would be honored!

But, as always, I can only pick one winner. Our winner this week is: Denise!
Most of us have the black and white or the family portrait hand-painted or ‘overpainting’ studio photos of the 1950’s in our albums or in frames. I would love to see a 1950’s kit designed with a mix of the brights and pastels of that era.

Congratulations Denise! Sherah, Sherah Kraan, is already hard at work on your request.
Very important note: I will post a new winner every week, however, please do not expect your Custom Collection to be ready within a week. Scrapbooking Collections take time, and that time varies by Designer. Some of our team are full-time designers, others are part-time. Some are new mommies with littles at home, and others are Grandmothers. Some of us are both.
I cannot wait to see the requests this week, please post away your biggest wishes in the comments below. Comments are open to everyone. New comments, and repeat comments are welcome. I will post a new winner next week.
I would love to see a kit for the mid south. I relocated to South Carolina 27 years ago and still love it. We have flowers year round — crepe myrtle and a thousand others in the summer and fall, camellias in the winter, and we know spring is here to stay when the dogwoods shower us with petals as pretty as a gentle snowfall. We even have 1-2 days of snow each winter–just enough to love! I live in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains and I would love to see a spring kit that emphasizes dogwoods and views of the Smokies. Just some ideas to include: azaleas in every shade of pink and purple, or any rhododendron, the beautiful little churches scattered everywhere. Not all are white clapboard. Here in Clemson we have the unique Old Stone Church where so many people are married every year. Another vision, the great little lakes created by the TVA to bring electric power to small communities in the 1930s. And, omg, the music! Banjos and dulcimers and foot tapping and maybe a little bit of white lightning passed between friends. We are so much more than what Hollywood portrays. And this is what I would love to see in a kit. Thank you for your consideration.
I love any beach, shore or coastal theme and being from the northeast and spending summers on Long Island and Cape Cod, I have several kits to use for New England and mid-Atlantic/Cheasapeake areas. Like Cully, I love the idea of a southern theme kit. However, I would prefer the coastal regions of Georgia and South Carolina. In particular Savannah (Tybee Island, Historic mansions, Forsyth Park, the Squares, River Road, Bonaventure Cemetery) and Charleston (Rainbow Row, Old City Market, The Battery waterfront, Middleton Place, Ft. Sumter. Magnolia Mansion & Gardens). There are numerous landmarks and scenic areas and let’s not forget the alligators. Have so many photos from these areas since we have visited a few times in the last 10 years. Thank you for the opportunity to make a wish.
I’d love something for the odd sports -karate or wrestling
How wonderful…thank-you Sherah Kraan …I know this will be beautiful.
In addition to my teal, gray, ivory and burlap wedding design request I submitted last week in anticipation of my son’s wedding in May (teal and burlap are the “in” colors I guess!!), my next request has more to do with the layouts and quick pages. The designs I’ve seen are absolutely gorgeous and I’ll use them to highlight one very special picture. However, many of us have occasions where we have “gazillions” of great pictures (vacations, weddings, birthdays, graduations, family reunions, etc.) where we need to put multiples pictures on one page. Most of the collections/bundles have one-picture quick pages. I’d like to see multiple picture quick pages included in a collection/bundle. (If it happens to be in teal, ivory, gray and burlap with biking and scrabble added elements, that would be a bonus, if not, OK too!!) Thanks for helping us all out by preserving more of our favorite photos!!
Much appreciated,
Joleen
I would like to suggest a kit about exercise for adults–specifically walking, running, cycling, dancing, Zuma, yoga, treadmill, barbells–any or all of these. Many people do some form of exercise on a regular basis, whether alone or with family members or pets. The people in the kit could be silhouttes with various indoor or outdoor embellishments, just not those universal symbols. I have no color preferences. Thank you for your consideration and the opportunity to make a request.
Where do I find out or keep up with the winner announcements each week for the Custom Collection Sundays because I must be missing it? I haven’t seen anything lately. Thanks!
They will post it here. It is approximately on Sundays, sometimes they miss a few. They have to coordinate with the designers first, because I think a designer has to agree to make it before they declare a winner. 😀
Also, I am sure they are very busy getting ready for the new servers. I am a server admin for a large university in real life. When we plan upgrades, even though we do the work of the upgrade, we have everyone checking their information and data both before and after.
Congratulations Denise!
The colors look scrumptious!! 🙂
We live in MN, home to 10,000 lakes!! And we have so many family memories at our cabin that have now moved to another generation with two little grandsons (3 and 1) that love to fish with their Papa (Grandpa). Therefore, I would live to see a cabin, fishing, fun in the water (swimming, tubing, skiing, wake boarding, etc.) and campfire theme. Rustic Earthy tones and water would be awesome!! Whether its families like ours that have cabins or lake homes or that special cabin vacation time, those memories are precious and go tooooo fast!!
Thanks,
Joleen
