It’s that time of year… that month… that day! Digital Scrapbooking Day!
“Digital Scrapbooking Day was first established in 2007 to create awareness for digital scrapbooking – not only as a creative way to document and display memories, but also as a means to archive photos and memorabilia safely digitally. (It) is intended to act as a catalyst to set aside some time at least annually to digitally document your personal history.” – digitalscrapbookingday.com
We, here at theStudio, are dedicated to helping you make that happen!
We have hundreds of tutorials on our blog that cover a range of subjects and skill levels. Type a subject in the Search Box, and it is most likely that you will find a tutorial to assist you.
We also are having a 50% store-wide sale, going on now through October 3rd!
In addition, today and tomorrow, we are having Flash Sales, where you can choose from a wide variety of quality products for just $1 per pack!
Putting both the tutorials and sales into practical application:
Are you looking at Textured Overlays in our Commercial Use store? And do you have your eye on (or already own) a Kit from our Personal Use store?
Type “Overlays” in the Blog Search Box and this is just a sampling of the tutorials you will find:
- Stretching your Digi-Stash with Overlays
- Coloring Textured Grayscale Overlays
- 4 Ways to Use Overlays & Textured Creatively using Blend Modes
Let’s take a quick look at just one way to use a Texture.
- Place a texture on a layer above a solid paper.
- Change the blend mode of the texture until you find a look you like. Soft Light and Overlay generally are great places to start!
Here is a solid cardstock from Color Outside the Lines (personal use), and a texture from Artsy Textures 03 (commercial use).
This Digital Scrapbooking Day weekend, explore our store, and our blog! See how we can help you accomplish your digital scrapbooking goals!
