Yesterday was historic. There are no better or longer or more words. It was that. Historic. For the first time in my experience, maybe really truly for the first time ever, we had a beautiful, peaceful Equality 5K Walk on base. Our military base.
Over 640 people showed up after work, on the one gorgeous sunny evening of the week, to let their voices be heard. Quietly. Respectfully. Powerfully.
I am going to let my photo’s speak. I am going to give a voice to the people in my life, in my community. I ask that you, you reading my blog, just listen. I am tired of people I know and love wanting to argue. To find minute examples somewhere in the world, somewhere in their experience, to validate that all these voices are wrong.
Look. Listen. Hear their pleas.
???
