Who’s ready to try something new? Me! I’m always ready to try something new LOL! One of the things that has frustrated me is trying to find the absolute perfect scrapkit for my photo’s. It used to be I could just make what I need. Now, with a full-time job, three kids still at home & a new found love of photography, I just do not have the time to design and scrap. But, I found a solution!
Introducing Custom Collection Sundays! Every Sunday you, our readers, will get a chance to request a Custom Digital Scrapbooking Collection. Every Sunday I will take your requests and share it with theStudio Design Team. Every Sunday one lucky commenter will get their wish! How cool is that?
Very important note: I will post a new winner every week, however, please do not expect your Custom Collection to be ready within a week. Scrapbooking Collections take time, and that time varies by Designer. Some of our team are full-time designers, others are part-time. Some are new mommies with littles at home, and others are Grandmothers. Some of us are both.
Ready to get started? I’m going to share my number one request, just to give you an idea of what we’d like to see in the comments:
I’d love a Seaside Collection! Beach & lighthouses & dunes & seagulls & boats! I love pale colors like seafoam, sand & light blues. One of my favorite palettes is Design Seeds: Bird Eye Hues.
There is no need to post a palette. A simple description is fine. The winner will coordinate the final palette, theme and collection name directly with the Designer.
The weekly winner will receive the entire Custom Collection FREE! All custom collections will be added to our store as part of our normal inventory.
Post your greatest wish in the comments below, be sure to include theme & colors. I will post our first winner next week, along with a new round of Custom Collection Sunday!
I’d love to see a collection devoted to the Rainbow Loom/rubber band craze! My daughter (and grandkids too) have been very involved with this new craft & have made all kinds of amazing things, not just bracelets, but all kinds of cute objects. Yet I’ve not seen one single kit anywhere related to this worldwide craze! PLEASE!!!???!!!!
I have not seen a kit that I thought really captured Southern California. Places to visit, scenery, lifestyle, sports, etc. I have a whole list of things that I think fit in this category – but a small sample – palm trees, surfing, beach volleyball, LEGOLAND, Sea World, the Coaster, the Hotel Del, trolley cars, movie stars, pandas, baseball. The color palette is wide open – blues make me think of the ocean, bright colors, yellow sunshine, red or fushcia bougainvillea, sand, green foliage. Probably a very wide topic to cover in a single kit.
I would love to see a State Fair collection with rides, tickets, corn dogs, cotton candy and carousel. That would be a great kit. Thanks.
I want to see a older princess “teenage” not in pink either maybe pale purple or blue no paper elements just some realistic ones.
Thanks 🙂
What a great idea! I’m a big fan of Design Seeds and pin the color cards of combinations that I would love to use and/or see in kits. MY favorites are color schemes have pops of colors. I would love kits that mix industrial/grunge/rust with nature. Stuff like rusty gears, wires, steel along with green vines, delicate red and pink flowers. Stuff like that would be great to use scrapbooking for guys, heritage and nature.
I am obsessed with family genealogy. My family immigrated to Chicago in the late 1890’s. I’m going to request a Chicago theme from the early 1900’s. What a fun idea!
I am loving all of your ideas and starting points! Looking forward to seeing what suggestions you share, what designers jump in and what stunning collections get created! <3
I would like a TRAMPOLINE kit…bouncy, sunny, summer fun!
I am so dying to see a Quinceanera Collection – I have never found one, and it is such a beautiful ceremony and celebration. I would love it in brilliant blues, white, and silver.
I’d like to see a non-grungy, Realistic kit for college days, past and present – my college days were in the late 1960’s. Homecoming parade. Theatre- the plays and rehearsals, costumes and stage sets: Art class, Sweetheart Ball, Studying for tests, sitting on the lawn chatting, playing guitar, laughing, Hippies (I was one of those, too),
I would love a kit with a beautiful graduation – not kiddish – something a little classier looking. This might be a lot to ask, but since you asked.
I would love to see a piano themed collection which included sheet music, music symbols and notes, different piano elements (baby grand, upright, keyboard) and piano and music themed wordart quotes.
What great ideas!
I would love to see a collection that is music- and violin-focused.
Like Elaina, I would like to see sheet music, music symbols and notes, and music- and violin-themed wordart quotes.
I would like a heritage-style feel with browns and blues with a touch of gold and red.
Wow! Thanks so much for this opportunity!!
Wow! So many great suggestions.
I would love a realistic western kit with different shades of browns and blues. Cows and horses, ropes, spurs, saddles, hay, etc.
Thank you
Sounds like a great idea! My wish might be: Mountain Vacation: trees and forests (not autumn), lakes, rivers, gardens (peonies, hydrangeas, marigolds, roses, begonias, pansies), starry nights, maybe camping, travel to and from. Palette would be strong blues and greens, with some pink, rose, yellow-orange, and purple thrown in. Hazy landscape papers.
