I adore this effect used in layouts, where the photo becomes the title, and the title becomes the focal point! This is a fun video tutorial I came across showing one (of many) ways to create an image filled title!

Thanks for the very easy tutorial. I’ll try it in PSE since it looks like that would work too.
I love having pictures in words! I am curious why he chose a resolution of 72 when he created his word document. I have PSE so can’t use the tracking he mentioned for spacing the letters – unless there is a PSE trick I haven’t heard of? I did play with his steps – I just had to put each letter on an individual layer and then I could move them around to change the spacing.

Aaron uses 72dpi because he does a lot of web work. You wouldn’t use that resolution for printed layouts or other material. That said, he’s a great teacher and has lots of videos showing various techniques. Very worthwhile!
